🇮🇳 STRIVE India POEM: Rajasthan's Heart
A heartfelt Namaste to my beautiful friends of Strive, we unite as one heartbeat, one force for India 2025.
We share an important mission, for Big Change we ignite, not only for charity but that fire growing within us, alight.
From Delhi to Agra we quickly tether, nothing will bond us more than the adventure we’ll have together.
But first we visit a world wonder, the great Taj Mahal, as dawn breaks it pours golden blessings upon its dome and upon us all.
Alas, we gear up for our first 45 kilometer ride, we cheer the Strive cheer and take off with great pride!
Seats firm in the saddle, feet locked into the pedal, we ride for Big Change—no thought of a medal.
Then dust meets the tires, the adventure has begun, Beneath the fierce gaze of the Indian sun.
We all join Strive with at least one goal in mind, and leave profoundly stronger and emerge with chakras realigned.
We biked from Karauli to Ranthambhore where Tigers apparently roam, we saw none— but found what monkeys and kingfishers call home.
A half day cycle ended with crossing a river, a friendly Strive competition commenced, entertainment it did deliver!
We mount a third time— to Dausa we trek, over rocky terrain our confidence is checked.
Sweat beads flowing amongst the sun shining bright, our grit is more determined to outshine our might.
On the final stretch to Jaipur, the pink city appears, we glide into the walled city with fist pumps and loud cheers.
We all cross the finish line, the journey is done, for Strive has succeeded, the challenge is won!
Big Change prominent on our banner, a cause we all stand behind, We chased 200 miles with heart and children in our mind.
In the course of this journey across Indian terrain that’s so vast, we leave fully aware this Strive won’t be our last.
Another victory among us with a polo match win, a celebratory finale at the palace what a regal ending this has been.
No Strive is complete without karaoke of favorite songs, our very first mobile group sing-a-long.
We leave with souls awakened and with nothing left to be desired, we are stronger, more experienced and forever more inspired.
May we all head home knowing we are better versions of ourselves than before, our growth is sealed forever in a memory of Jaipur.
