Argentina Adventures

My travel crew that went to Macchu Piccu in late 2024 got together again for a second south American adventure! This time is was 24hrs after my arrival home from Colombia! This girl group knows how to travel so i always feel the need to say “YES” to their trips…and that is my mantra anyways! (Say YES, Ask questions later!)

Our trip started off in Buenos Aires for a night. We walked around and saw some city highlights and enjoyed a live tango dinner show.

Then off to Mendoza early in the morning to a beautiful small estate with 7 rooms, Susana Balbo Winemaker's House & Spa Suites. The first wine tasting was not notable (Terrazas de los Andes) but our dinner at the hotel was!

Day two we had wonderful wine tastings at Viña Cobos winery (Paul Hobbs wines) and Catena Zapata. Catena Zapata had a picturesque estate and an artsy 3hr lunch which was so fun!

Then we had another full travel day to get to El Calafate, Patagonia region. We landed and got to our cool dome hotel in time for dinner. The next morning we left for the glacier, the highlight of the trip as we finally moved our bodies!

The Perito Moreno glacier is huge and around 18,000+ years old. We took a boat ride over to it and took a hike onto the ice to enjoy glacier hiking. This was the furthest south on the globe I’ve ever been. (until I ever go to Antarctica!)
