National Best Friends Day
June 8th is National Best Friends Day! This is a shout out to my favorite people who lift me up, love me, add joy to my every day life and bring fun adventures to the year!
Carrie
My best friend since 8th grade
I remember when Carrie moved to our school and she started calling me. I asked my Mom, “why is she calling?”. My Mom said “she wants to be your friend!”. And I am glad you called! WE connected with gymnastics, and cheerleading, we went to the University of Tennessee together. You’ve been part of my most pivotal parts of life and especially when My Mom died.
We’ve been each others Maids of honors at our weddings. Supportive during pregnancies. Injuries and Surgeries. Scary moments. Sad moments. WE’ve been through it all and will be each other’s support until death.
You’re a sister to me. A safe space who I can talk to about any kind of topic. WE’ve had crazy memories and childhood missions that crack us up to this day. You sent me a list years ago of adjectives to describe me that I kept as it keeps a smile on my face! I love you!
We love Counting Crows!
Natasha
My soul sister
I’ve never met a person like you. We instantly connected, formed a friendship with huge memories. You showed me what a friendship of love, tenderness, spirituality and a soulful connection is. Thank you for opening me up and teaching me to find my voice and love myself.
We love going to festivals, laughing for hours, travel, new experiences, girl time, being healthy and working out, clean living, being beautiful, martinis, chasing sunsets, manifesting, we love the moon, and so much more.
Thank you for introducing me to the Gang Gang and making me a stonger, more confident version of myself.
Sunset chasers forever
Jen
a Beautiful Uplifting heart
Another fast friend that was solidified the first night we really hung out and I got sick and you sat beside me at the toilet all night long. True friend and beautiful heart seen immediately with that kind of care. You are a badass woman professionally, as a mom, wife, athlete and friend.
Missy
a quick new entry with a heart of happiness
I just met Missy on July 4th 2022 at our lakehouse party but we really started hanging out at LEe’s 50th birthday in Aspen when I saw how vibrant she was. Not only is she fun, she’s courageous and willing to try anything (like ski down a steep blue to get down from Cloud9 Champagne bar), she is a fierce business woman, she’s a kind human with a huge heart that radiates sunshine. she’s a butterfly of life. A mini smurfette that brings joy into the room. But she is also real. We have deep, soulful conversations and experiences that solidifies the friendship quicker.
Kristen
My sweet sweet Kristen
WE met in college on our way to geography class. I had a bunch of sour gummy worms that I shared and we had a sugar high and laughed through class and it became a tradition. We eventually lived together with Carrie. We don’t see each other as often as we like but we talk as often as we can and don’t skip a beat. you’re a busy mom of 4 and when we get through this wild phase I am sure we will have more time to see each other. Thank you for inspiring my spirituality and adding so much love to my life.
🍀 I am lucky for you ladies and so many more women in my life. I am grateful to have found my tribe, soul sisters, family.
And look what happens when we come together! L-O-V-E!
xoxo,
Lindsay
