Burning Man 2025

Burning man still is my favorite week of the year! It’s the most bizarre (in a great way) playground of quirky weirdness that fuels my soul! My brain explodes with the amount of creativity mashed with kind humans and fun things taking place at any hour of the day!

What made this year unique?

Every year is different. The playa provides what your soul is needing and surprises you in ways you wouldn’t expect.

1) The year of the storms!

We arrived on Friday before the gates opened to setup and get the art car through the DMV. On Saturday night a huge dust storm came out of nowhere and absolutely blasted the playa for 3 hours! We were luckily safe at home but it was so intense our home shook and dust came into our trailer so much we had to wear masks!

2) WE had an art car!

Lee had the crazy idea to buy an art car in February. One happened to fall into our laps which was an old western wagon called the “Cosmic Cowboy”. It turned into a fun creative project — full time job — for Lee to use his creative genius on. Having it on the playa was very different and was a place for friends to find us and congregate. Bonus it had a cuddle puddle to rest your feet and the 8ft wheels gave us a nice viewing platform for DJs and the Man Burn.

3) My best Friend came!

Natasha came for her first burn! Having her on playa and showing her the magic made it extra special. Lots of friends and first time burners came this year so gave me more people to track down to say hello.

NEXT YEAR

I am already excited for next year! I want to make sure I maximize my time and see more art. I didn’t have much time due to weather constraints to go on journeys into the playa and take photos!
