Committed to my Next Strive Challenge!

While listening to my second Mel Robbins book, The 5 second rule, I stopped overthinking and I just started moving forward.

5 - 4 -3 - 2 - 1… I am going to INDIA!!

Holy crap! In 50 days I am going to be biking nearly 200 miles across India with a group of amazing humans from across the world! These adventures provide me a moment to prove to myself how strong I am! These challenges bring so much wealth to my life.

So now I train! I dusted off my bike, got a tune-up and the tires pumped.

Went for my first ride at the Silver Comet trail and was on track to bike over 18 miles on my first ride! I was so impressed with myself. My huge smile and beautiful sun shining on me made me want to capture the moment with a photo:

But these photos landed me in a bad spot. I should have stayed in the moment and kept riding and listening to Mel. Right after this last shot, I started to tighted my phone holder that attached to my handle bar and

C - R - A - S - H!

I fell hard. Handle bar rammed me in my inner thigh (right where I just had a vein ablation 2.5weeks prior). I had a huge contusion and some scrapes on my legs and hands.

Luckily there were a number of kind humans that helped me up, got my wheel straight again and tightened my handle bar. They helped me get to a street where one of the gentlemen, Marcus, picked me up in his truck and drove me to my car.

I am healing still but hope to get onto my bike again this coming weekend to show it who is boss and that nothing is stopping this trip to India where I get to prove to myself how strong I am, and can be.
