POEM: Bora Bora

Oh what a Polynesian delight,

Flying into Bora Bora was love at first sight.

It wasn’t the smoothest entry we’ve made,

Coming in bagless, pantiless and unbathed.

We were even kicked off our flight to Tahiti,

Thankfully got the Captain’s approval to reseat us three.

But oh boy, when we arrived the stress didn’t set,

The paradise before us was as beautiful as it could get!

The mountain surrounded by water the most vibrant shades of blue,

And warm air swirling our bodies while we whisper, “I love you”.

Our boat docks at the St. Regis at last,

Without any luggage unpacking goes fast.

Bike rides quickly became a favorite part of the days,

Zipping through the resort’s perfectly manicured pathways.

We shopped the finest fashions of Bora Bora we could find,

We bought dresses, shirts, shorts and undies we didn’t mind.

We still had some issues, Lee walked straight into a door,

Banged up his face that chilled rosé champagne helped cure.

And Natasha with her period leaving her mark around town,

Her dress, Lee’s sarong and multiple seat cushions went down.

But we’re professional happiness creators, it doesn’t impact us,

We’ll just throw more beach & bungalow parties ‘til the JBL busts.

We had incredible adventures in a storybook setting,

Wake surfing in the atoll we won’t be forgetting.

Nor will we miss over-tipping on pours of 1942,

But it makes Natasha happy so that’s what we will do!

Damn she looks sexy drinking Dobel straight from the bottle,

We don’t know any speed except going full throttle!

Collecting experiences, not things is our belief,

So we jumped in to snorkel with sharks and stingray by the reef!

We had a private island picnic with our feet in the sea,

After we had massages under a thatched-hut in the breeze.

Hell YES we are spoiled and pampered galore!

We even order champagne at 2am because WE WANT MORE!

Sipping on sunset cocktails while planning our Rascals invasion,

And gnawing on petrified pineapple rinds is my idea of a perfect equation.

The beach was the stage to many cuddle puddles and snuggle fests,

But the friendship hammock snuggles were absolutely the best!

Spa time winner goes to Natasha for three,

While Lee and Lindsay scuba-dived with Manta Ray in the sea.

Aside from all the experiences, we became closer as friends,

The amount of love, adoration and comfort never ceases to end.

We skinny-dipped whenever because we were wild and free,

We gave butterfly bedroom performances that any man would pay to see.

But that’s not all! We hired a photographer by profession,

Not just a one-hour shoot, but a FOUR hour session!

We rocked badass outfits and dragged Lee by the feet,

And now we have dozens of memories that are so sweet.

The tiger, kittycat-fish and unicorn go down in a history book,

As the favorite all-time photos that the photographer ever took.

That is all I can share of this immaculate vacation,

The rest is stored as top secret information.

However, Lee and Lindsay fell in love more deeply,

All over again but bigger and more freely.

And Lindsay passionately proclaims Natasha as her truest friend,

The love we have for each other will never end.

This trip is a second of MANY lifetime adventures to be had,

Swirl me wind, love me friends, this throuple is iron-clad.
